THE BICENTENNIAL THAT NEVER WAS | A Conversation With Heather Perry, Superintendent of Gorham, Maine Schools

Posted in by Garrick Hoffman

Heather Perry is the superintendent of Gorham, Maine schools, as well as the chair of the education committee for the Maine200 Bicentennial Commission. On March 2, 2021, Ms. Perry sat down with me at the Gorham municipal offices to discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic affected both Gorham schools and the Maine Bicentennial projects that she’s been overseeing. We also went over her role in the Bicentennial Commission, as well as her background as a Mainer and educator.

This is the second part in a series interviewing members of the Maine200 Bicentennial Commission.

Watch the first part of the series featuring Maine200 Chairman, Senator Bill Diamond.
